Jewelry Care Rules

Maintenance of jewelery

Do not store jewelry in the sun. Jewelry from the direct sunlight begins to fade and loses its luster (the most suitable place to store jewelry is a cabinet, chest of drawers or a separate drawer. If you have the opportunity, store the jewelry in separate boxes). It is advisable to remove burning jewelry.

Jewelry should not be wetted, because moisture can oxidize jewelry and change color, lose luster. Avoid wet areas when storing jewelry, as metal may start to rust and the threads on which the jewelry is strung will crack. Painted accessories will start to fade.

Before bathing in the sea, lake or river, it is better to remove the jewelry. Cold water reduces the size of your fingers, so you may lose your rings. You can lose chains and earrings while swimming in open water.

Do not spray perfume directly on jewelry. After removing the jewelry, it is advisable to wipe the cosmetic residue with a dry cosmetic cloth. If you want to keep the jewelry for as long as possible, wipe it periodically with a dry cloth, polish each pebble.

Do not store jewelry in the same box with jewelry (gold, silver).

Jewelery care

Gold is a precious metal that is highly resistant to time and external influences, but the surface of gold products is quite soft, especially if the gold is of higher fineness, so protect them from scratching.

It is advisable to clean gold and silverware with special wipes.

It is not advisable to wear jewelry when handling the house or working outdoors: chemicals, rough ground or work tools can damage the surface of the products (scratches, loss of shine).

Use body lotions, sunscreens, perfumes after removing jewelry, because body care products can remain on jewelry, cover them with an opaque film, then the jewelry will lose its shine.
